Kitchen Inspiration

After being contacted by homeowners in Shalimar, Florida, our team at Kitchen Solver’s of Emerald Coast knew exactly how to turn their current transitional style home into a marvelous modern masterpiece. Removing the non-load bearing wall which housed the refrigerator and pantry opened up the kitchen allowing for easier navigation. Eliminating the wall in between the dining room and kitchen not only proved to be a more effective use of space but also helped aid to the modern “feel” sought after by our homeowners. The two-toned custom Madrid-style cabinets installed in a natural color combination of Bistro and Walnut added dimension and depth to the newly remodeled home. Modern style kitchens can sometimes feel less “homey”, so two-toned cabinetry is a great solution to create some warmth and character without compromising the modern look. Replacing the old countertops with quartzite contrasted beautifully with the dark natural cabinetry. Along with a new countertop material, our homeowners wanted a different style island. We instated a step-up countertop which is the perfect height for prep work while comfortably seating five. This island is a great space to entertain and host guests. To finish this kitchen off, a quartzite backsplash was implemented tying together the countertops and constructing a cohesive design. Our satisfied customers can now enjoy the breath-taking view all while sipping on their morning coffee!
